Hot and cold washed PET flakes
This is a product of crushed PET bottle after sorting, de-capping and label removing. The PET bottle flakes are transformed into other plastic material in the manufacturing value chain for reuse thereby creating a circular economy without need to use virgin materials. The processed PET flakes can be channelled into making pellets, plastic bottle preforms, fibre yarns, pavement blocks for the construction sector as well as making fencing poles. We pride ourselves with the quality of the hot and cold washed flakes that meets both local and international market standards.
Baled PET plastics:
The high use of PET bottle plastics and the inadequate disposal of used plastics in Nigeria is a challenge we are tasked to resolve by providing solution to such post consumables. Besides turning plastics into flakes, we baled PET plastics are supplied and shipped to partners for further use in the manufacturing of other plastic products
Baled Aluminum Cans
MECOM supply clean baled and non-baled aluminum beverage cans as products to our partner recycling companies in the value chain with focus on local and international market. Supplies are shipped and delivered in tons only for industry use upon timely request.
